have you thought how weird we have become?

Some responses to craziness:

Cast Iron Balcony has a good addition to the Aboriginal lands invasion.

The Maleny Times has a deftly daft take on the hysteria.

And Deltoid probes behind the S-bend on a Miranda Devine piece that had me awed beyond laughter.

Meanwhile, Mr Ringschott has a wee look at James Packer in his speedos, and we think that manboobs are nature’s revenge for obscene riches.

I can’t get the image of Aboriginal kids going bush pursued by soldiers with speculums out of my head. How would you feel if you were a small kid and the army rolled into town and lined you up for a thorough physical inspection? You too would go straight over the back fence and catch the nearest bus to Aunty Jill.

Oh, and Chris Noble from Southern Star Endemol has just formally apologised to the Mexican government for defacing a flag on BB.

  1. Caz Za Says:

The Maleny Times link is incorrect, leads to the Balcony.

  2. Mark Says:

David, the stories of women taking kids bush are already filtering through (Mutijulu for one http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/06/25/1961648.htm, and further up the Top End too) – they are terrified the police and army are coming to take the kids away – again.

Remember, these are women who remember their parents hiding them from the welfare, or this happening to their parents.
