This map, enticingly marked with swastikas, was made from the air by Dorniers during the 1938-39 Nazi expedition to annex part of Antarctica. After the war, it passed to the Norwegians, who call it Queen Maud Land, rather than Neu-Schwabenland. The story is told on the wonderful Strange Maps.
