some kind of evil
Here’s an odd discovery, alternately vile and pathetic. I encountered it in a long article from the Sunday Times by Kathy Brewis, which I have substantially reversioned.
“Myrtle Jones, from Tasmania, was a failed actress and singer with high pretensions who already had a husband when she met Darquier at a casino in 1927..”
She is the person I am interested in, of course, but she is only a bit player in an emblematic and complex tale, explored in Bad Faith: A Forgotten History of Family, Fatherland and Vichy France, by Carmen Callil, the founder of Virago. Brewis’s piece is based on the book, and her own extensive interview with Carmen.
Myrtle somehow became tangled up with Charles Workman’s Gilbert and Sullivan company, which had arrived in Australia to work for J. C. Williamson in 1914. It left in 1922 to tour India and the Far East, but both Charles and his wife died on the voyage. She married Charles’s son Roy while he was still technically under age, and she was 27. According to a radio interview with Callil on the ABC
“From the very beginning, Myrtle had changed her name. When she married for first time, she called herself Sandra Lindsay and she changed the name of her father on the marriage certificate at Sydney registry office…
[Her husband] … was the son of working class singers from respectively Bootle in Lancashire and Belfast in Northern Ireland, when they married, Myrtle called him Lord Workman Macnaughten, whereas his real name was Lord – (laughs) – was Roy Workman. He wasn’t a lord at all. Do you see the level of fantasy we’re dealing with?
… Myrtle had charm, so it would be unfair to say she was a terrible liar in a condemnatory way, but she was a formidable liar. I mean, not a word of truth passed her lips – as her daughter, I’m afraid, knew all too well”
In the next five years, she and Roy somehow made it to Europe as entertainers. In 1927, she became entangled with Louis Darquier. The two courted while her husband hung around in the background.
Myrtle came from a respectable Tasmanian farming family, south of Launceston, though they slowly went broke. Having educated his children and buried his war-shattered son, her father had the brains to make sure she never got access to any family capital, which was slowly disappearing anyway. Still, by birth and class, Myrtle was in many ways a social match for Louis. As Brewis says,
..Louis Darquier was born in 1897 to a good Catholic family in Cahors, southwest France. His father, Pierre, was a well-respected doctor and later the town’s mayor, a “big and solid, cordial and joyous” man, “much loved” – not least by his many mistresses. “One must know when to shut one’s eyes,” his wife, Louise, would say..
By the time Myrtle met him, he was a foul creature, a kind of demi-monde sponger, living on his wits, promiscuous and brutal. Whatever self preservations skills had supported her now evaporated, and she transferred to Louis, via a bigamous marriage, to add complexity to passports already entangled in her numerous names and aristocratic pretensions. According to Tasmanian expatriate Peter Conrad’s review of the book, she was a
“a boozy, dope-befuddled Tasmanian trollop… another weak-minded fantasist, who used drink and drugs to keep an incriminating reality at bay. She sold herself to Darquier as an heiress, (Lady Workman-Macnaghten of Belfast) although her financial prospects were as spurious as his aristocratic title. It was their collusion as liars that glued them together, despite his sleazy philandering..”
Kathy Brewis describes her like this:
A tragicomic figure, more tragic than comic, she had pathetically low expectations; her first husband had hit her once, she said, but “only when maddened by drink”. Darquier frequently left her so battered and blue she barely dared venture out. Regardless, she clung to him like a limpet, professing to love him till the end.
She and Darquier had in common a love of self-reinvention – they called themselves “Baron and Baroness Louis Darquier de Pellepoix” – and of decadence… Darquier’s family hated Myrtle; they thought she was common and contrived to split up the pair. Myrtle told them she was “frightened at his violence”, but they – particularly his mother, Louise – insisted on believing it was Myrtle who was a bad influence on precious, talented Louis. For his part, Louis despised Myrtle for staying with him, and beat her up when she was pregnant with his child.
Anne, their child, was born in 1930. Myrtle sent the photograph above to his mother, begging for money. Shiftless, improvident and greedy, moving from cheap hotel to cheap hotel, they found Anne a nanny and left her in England. Then they didn’t pay the nanny, except for the occasional pound note. In these years, they were pitifully broke, often thrown out of lodgings, sometimes entangled with the law.
Louis became active in politics, as Brewis describes:
Darquier seized upon this anti-Jewish feeling and made it his own. He was an arrogant waster, singularly devoid of redeeming features. On February 6, 1934, he took part in far-right riots against the French government. Seventeen protesters were killed and 1,500 wounded. Darquier was shot in the thigh by police, which made him a hero – he said it was “like having a winning ticket to the lottery”. Spotting a great way to make money, he founded the Association des Blessés et Victimes du 6 Février (Association for the Wounded and the Victims of February 6), ostensibly a charity but in effect a way to line his own pockets. It was the first of many dubious organisations he set up to benefit from far-right money. Soon he had a job on a far-right newspaper, Le Jour, then he became a Paris city councillor for the National Front. By 1936 he was being funded by the Nazis. He shared their enthusiastic hatred of all things Jewish – his reaction to Kristallnacht was “Bravo, Fritz!”
Perhaps the sickest twist in all this was Louis’ anti-Semitism. Callil says he wasn’t even sincere. Here’s the ABC interview:
“CARMEN CALLIL: With Louis himself, it was not deep-seated. He took it up as a profession because it bought him money. When he took up anti-Semitism, he had been convicted of fraud, he’d been out of work for 10 years, supported by his younger brother and also by the Tasmanian family, who were extremely generous always to their sister and daughter Myrtle. But he never earned a cent in his life, really, until he became a commissioner. He was always borrowing money and their bar bills are enormous. At one point in the early 1940s, there’s as much as £50,000 in one bar alone in Paris. He did it for the money, because the Nazis paid him from 1936 onwards to become a professional anti-Semite. But the men he mixed with in Paris were fascists and extremists and nationalists. So he had plenty of comrades who were sincere French anti-Semites. And perhaps he felt he was one, but basically I think my book demonstrates he did it for the money.”
Myrtle’s family continued to have contact with her, beyond the cheque book. They visited Tasmania once, and her sister stayed with them in Paris some time in the 1930’s.
Somehow Louis had a strange mental explosion in 1939. Even though he was a German creature, he joined the French army, fought with them, and ended up as a prisoner in Poland. He was brought back and put to work. Brewis again:
‘Memoirs of Vichy France portray Darquier as a “street ruffian”, “indolent and pleasure-loving”, “hot-headed with an extravagant personal style”. So he was in some ways a strange choice for the responsible post of commissioner for Jewish affairs. But the Germans – who were running the show, though theoretically Vichy France was its own master – knew he had “the correct conception of the Jewish question”. “Let the Jews be exiled or massacred!” he said at a rally. As commissioner, Darquier was in charge of the Vél d’Hiv (winter sports arena) round-up which sent 13,000 Jews to the death camps, almost a third of them children. He avoided the nasty nitty-gritty, but knew exactly what was going on.
At Germany’s bidding, he happily made French and foreign Jews over the age of six wear the yellow star. It was his idea to strip naturalised Jews of their French citizenship, thus bumping up the numbers available for deportation. In total, in his time as commissioner, some 11,400 children were sent to the camps, nearly all of whom perished.
Here’s Carmen Callil, in her ABC interview:
“MAXINE McKEW: But there is no doubt about the central role that Louis Darquier played in this because, after all, you also describe someone who was anything but a model of the efficient Prussian bureaucrat, if you like. He was pretty hopeless, wasn’t he?
CARMEN CALLIL: (Laughs) He was actually a French bounder and conman. And what has to be said is that both the Germans and the Vichy French came to hate him because he loathed to work. Basically he took money from other people, and he was so inefficient that the only round-up he was permitted to do was the one I have described to you. After that, he spent most of his period as commissioner of Jewish affairs attending to getting money from Jews and taking their property. And this is also described in my book. The death of the Jews was only a part of what he did.
MAXINE McKEW: There’s also a bizarre association, isn’t there – there’s this awful destructive co-dependency you describe between Myrtle and Louis, but equally, there’s this paradox – that at the same time that Louis is commissioner for Jewish affairs, you document that Myrtle is an Anglophile, she’s sitting there in Paris really cheering on for Great Britain to win the war.
CARMEN CALLIL: Well, I think that’s true. I think that’s what she said. But in the accounts which are in my book you will see that quite often she’s the worse for wear. I know the family don’t like to think she was an alcoholic but Anne’s half-sister, whom I’ve met many times, described all too well. … So I don’t think they took her seriously. Actually, the women Vichy, the wives did object to her. She wasn’t what they expected in the wife of a commissioner and when she had too much drink taken, she was loud mouthed. But certainly she knew what was going on. She did. But she fantasised and she drank to prevent having to acknowledge what she was doing.
I am intrigued by Myrtle’s story because she was so vulnerable and self destructive, and found herself as a bit player in dreadful events, tolerating and putting up and probably sympathising with evil. But the wretched Darquier’s trash conning and disfunctionality was historically important, in a weirdly involuted way. He was extremely bad at the business of extermination, and the Nazis eventually sacked him.
“CARMEN CALLIL: I think he drove them absolutely mad, and I think if you wanted to do a comic opera of how the Germans managed badly in France, doing a trajectory of Louis’s attempts to please them and his utter failure to do so would be a good basis for a fabulous movie. He failed entirely to help them. He made everything much worse, because he was always starting new organisations from which he extracted money, which would never do anything with the money he was given. He pocketed all the money himself. Hardly a leaflet was produced.
MAXINE McKEW: And let’s go to the period then when Paris is liberated and of course, you know, a lot of rough justice was meted out to the collaborators and many others, but of course, Louis escapes this. How and why?
CARMEN CALLIL: Well, Louis was holed up with Myrtle in the Hotel Bristol where the Germans put their senior people and their officers. And his death was announced on the radio because someone with a monocle – because Louis Darquier always wore a monocle – had been shot, and they thought it was him. Anyway, he knew that they were after him. And when Myrtle heard that people were coming – this is the account I’ve been told and read – she shoved him out the back door when she heard a knock at the door. And his younger brother, unwisely but out of family loyalty – who was a good man, his younger brother – got him into a motor car, took him back to the family flat and holed him upstairs in an apartment where the family lived. And Anatole de Monzie, another French Republican collaborator who had great connections in Spain, as did Louis, got him over the frontier. He got his documents very easily because he had collaborated with Franco and Franco’s men throughout his years in Paris and in France during the war.”
Those years in Madrid were pretty gruesome for Myrtle, living with her decaying, has-been husband as he took a mistress, by whom he had a daughter. She was in bad condition, far gone with drink and drugs, painting herself as an imaginary heroine. Callil went to Spain to search out her imprint:
“In Madrid after the war – I met many people who knew her – and she was always talking about the children she’d saved by bringing them over the Pyrenees. Well, Myrtle at that point was a very large woman because the alcohol had made her very, very large indeed. And she was considered as a piteous figure, always talking about these children she saved and always fabricating imaginary events.”
She died in 1970, at the age of 75. Darquier was protected by Franco’s government for another ten years, even though he was known as “the French Eichmann”. In 1978, he gave an unrepentent and hideous interview to the French press, which led to international protests. He outwitted everyone by dying at exactly the right time – in 1980, at the age of 83.
Abandoned by her parents in 1930, Anne was raised by her nanny, Elsie Lightfoot, in Oxfordshire. Elsie protected her with another kind of fantasy..
” She didn’t know what her father did for a living. She had been told he was a French baron, which sounded romantic and heroic. In seeking to protect Anne from the truth, Elsie had laid the path for a destructive future disillusionment. But in the short term, it made for a reasonably happy childhood.
Photographs show Anne laughing at the seaside, cuddling dogs and dolls, smiling as a bridesmaid to one of her nanny’s relatives. Her upbringing was poor – Elsie had next to no money and had difficulty extracting maintenance from the Darquiers. But Elsie passed on to Anne a great sense of humour, which proved to be a good coping strategy – one that Callil shares. Elsie saw through the Darquiers straight away. She was entrusted with Anne’s care soon after her birth in 1930; three months later, Anne’s parents effectively disappeared from her life.
Anne was a war child, eight when the gas masks were handed out, 10 when the Blitz began. But in some ways she was lucky: Elsie approached some Free French charities for money and got her into a grammar school. Elsie was protective of her charge and deflected any interest in her parents. A contemporary recalled: “She was a mystery. She tried hard to fit in, but she didn’t, quite.” Poor, secretive Anne didn’t quite fit in anywhere. She didn’t learn the truth about her parents till she was in her teens, but even before then she grew up under the weight of the knowledge that there was something to hide.
Anne left school at 14 but carried on studying science: she was absolutely determined to become a doctor and, with Elsie’s help, found people willing to teach her what she needed. She met up with her mother when she was 15, but found her “a total write-off” – Myrtle was by this stage existing in an alcoholic haze – and cut off all contact with her. She met her grandmother too. Louise Darquier introduced her to Catholicism, music and polite society. She didn’t mention the fact that her son was a war criminal.
Anne was 18 or 19 when she met her father in exile in Madrid. Callil describes the event as a “violent shock” to Anne, who returned feeling “hatred, contempt and shame”.
Meanwhile, through a mixture of obvious potential and fabricated qualifications, she had blagged her way into Oxford University to read medicine at St Hilda’s – an extraordinary feat, at a time when few women went on to higher education: there were 970 women in Anne’s year. She didn’t like the sight of blood, so she decided to go into psychiatry; she trained at Bart’s and the Maudsley hospitals and became well regarded in her field, noted for her empathy.
“Fabricated qualifications.” By then she knew that her parents were fantasists and war criminals, and that she herself had grown up with a romantic, magical illusion of the family trapped in Paris under the Nazi bootheels.
Carmen Callil was driven to write the book by her complex relationship with Anne. She began as her psychiatric patient, but came to see her humanity too.
“Her private life was less of a success. She had difficult love affairs and friendships restricted by her intense privacy. “Her body seemed to belong nowhere; she had a sense of imminent departure about her,” Callil says. She describes Anne’s physique as stooped, round-shouldered – the body language of a person who has kept a lot in. “Her face wasn’t happy, but not sad either: it was wary, alert, concentrated.” She told Callil: “There are some things and some people you can never forgive.”
Anne killed herself in 1970, and was buried with the false aristocratic surname her father took in the 1930’s. But she helped to save Callil from her own demons, as Kathy Beavis explored in the interview:
‘Thanks to Anne, Callil “started to live in the world, like other people”. “I think the reason I got better was I discovered work,” she says. “Work saved me.” But while Callil began to flourish, Anne Darquier began to flounder. She started taking sleeping pills for insomnia, and drinking heavily. Her mother’s death, in June 1970, triggered her demise. Callil would turn up for a session to find her tearful and shaky. “At the end she collapsed in front of me, so to speak,” says Callil. “Otherwise we laughed a great deal.”
When Anne died, Callil felt “terrible grief”. She was baffled as to why Anne had been in such despair. Anne had left her clues: she had talked a little about her terrible parents, contravening the norms of the therapeutic relationship. But even now, Callil wishes Anne could have just told people the truth and lived with it. “She wasn’t strong enough. She had bad luck. I realised at the end that she was not well. That might be one reason I wrote the book: I knew something was terribly wrong in the last few months I knew her. The tables were a bit turned.” Did she write it for Anne? “No, for lots of people. People need help. Anne represents the people who didn’t have my luck, or the help I was given. I hate injustice and I believe in doing something about it.”
She died a few months after her mother, on her bedroom floor, her body flooded by barbituates and alcohol. Carmen Callil came to the house for her appointment, to be told she had just died.
With the publication of the book, the ABC tracked poor, passive, self-deceiving Merle’s family down in Tasmania.
“Growing up in Launceston and the small nearby town of Carrick at the turn of the last century, Myrtle’s strict Protestant upbringing in a well-to-do family gave her a sense of belonging to the British empire.
HEATHER MURDOCH, SISTER: Very beautiful, very talented, she was always singing and playing. She had lovely little white hands trickling over the piano, she was very talented and it lasted right through. And during the war, 1939 before France fell, she was performing at the British servicemen’s club in Paris, you know, reeling off all the popular numbers of the time. She played and sang most beautifully.
TOM IGGULDEN: Myrtle’s sister Heather, now 92, remembers meeting Louis before the war when her sister returned with him to Tasmania on a holiday soon after they were married.
HEATHER MURDOCH: It was a different world, his world of politics, and it didn’t touch her at all. She was very much always in love with him and close to him, but politics just wasn’t her thing, he pursued that life on her own.
TOM IGGULDEN: And she disputes Callil’s portrayal of her sister her book.
HEATHER MURDOCH: I think it was a vicious, horrible, brutal attack. To say she was alcoholic, oh no, no, I don’t know who could possibly say such a thing. Her interests were theatre, concerts, art exhibitions, history.
TOM IGGULDEN: And she defends Louis’s work in the Vichy regime.
HEATHER MURDOCH: He did, I think, as he would have to do, what the German superiors directed him to do. That’s what happens if you’re a conquered country…
TOM IGGULDEN: While Louis Darquier’s role in rounding up Jews for deportation remains in dispute, Myrtle Jones was in fact a friend to France’s Jews, according to her sister.
HEATHER MURDOCH: She had Jewish friends and I met some in Paris, and they all adored her and one family in particular, she saved from deportation, no question of it.”
Later, Maxine McKew played this piece to Carmen Callil before their own interview.
“MAXINE McKEW: Let’s now relate all this back to where it started for you, I suppose – your friend and therapist Anne Darquier, Louis and Myrtle’s daughter. When she later found out the full history, do you think this is I suppose what became for her a history that she couldn’t simply end up living with?
CARMEN CALLIL: She couldn’t end up living with it. And something I didn’t write in my book because I wasn’t – I don’t have the facts for it, but three days before she died I saw her and she was in a most appalling state. She couldn’t stop crying. And I knew she had just flown back from seeing her family because I knew she hated her family. And I think she went to see Louis after she had learned about the death of her mother, the death of Myrtle, and I think it was too much for her. I think her parents were the death of her. It’s easy to blame Louis most, but I’m not so sure. Myrtle had a very favoured childhood and I think her motherhood of Anne is something that Anne never came to terms with, that she never had a mother, and when she met Myrtle, she said she was absolutely destroyed by drink and drugs.
MAXINE McKEW: So it’s a tale of shattered lives all round?
CARMEN CALLIL: Absolutely shattered lives. I think I feel a bit shattered as I sit here because it never occurred to me that the Tasmanian Joneses wouldn’t speak to me because they denied what he had done. I thought they knew what he had done and were ashamed. That’s what I am finding rather shattering.

Carmen Callil is an expatriate Australian too, who had a miserable childhood in Melbourne before leaving in the early 60’s.
The book interweaves elements of her own autobiography and her relationship with Anne with the story of this ghastly, ill-starred family. After writing that sentence I realised how inadequate it is – the book is described by reviewers as Callil’s story as much as Anne’s, creating an extended meditation on evil, the abuse of children, and the shape of a human life.
Carmen Callil is a fascinating character, a true expatriate Australian. As The Age review says
“Melbourne lies at Callil’s very centre. Melbourne made her: she is a very specific product of a very specific time and place, in the sense that the city produced both Germaine Greer and Barry Humphries during the same period that it produced Carmen Callil. Seekers, mavericks all, each shares a sharp nose for mendacity and cant and all three, in their different ways, have made their careers on it.
Callil’s closest friend in Australia is the former publisher Hilary McPhee. McPhee told me later that Callil had remained extremely close to her Melbourne connections: “Whenever there is an election she is always the first person on the phone wanting to know how things are going.”
Melbourne is where Callil wants to be buried (in the family tomb in the Melbourne General Cemetery to be exact: she has it all arranged). After nearly 50 years in England Callil has “never felt anything but Australian”.
It is well worth reading the long appreciations by Kathy Brewe in The Sunday Times, and Peter Conrad in The Observer, which intersect with Susan Johnson’s piece in The Age.

The Belfast Workman – Macnaughtons really exist, as an aristocratic 19th century family, who must at least have provided a list of people Tasmanian Myrtle needed to avoid as she consorted with a husband she had elevated to the peerage. It seems to have been Roy’s idea, though he was not related to the family at all.

Africans and their decendants have gross disfavor::::
There have been 14 species of large animals capable of domestication in the history of mankind. 13 were from Europe, Asia and northern Africa but none from the sub-Saharan African continent.
Africans suffered failed attempts to domesticate the elephant and zebra, the latter being an animal that had the utmost importance for it’s applicability in transformation from a hunting/gathering to agrarian-based civilization.
They refuse to address black disfavor on a macro level. The Counsel/Management Team/ruling species (the gods) abuse black people so hard, from east African drought/famine to AIDS in Africa to female genital mutiliation, to the crack epiemic and gang membership, black-on-black violence to mass incarceration of their young. They refuse to address the issue of the prison industrial complex and its wholesale warehousing of young black men.
Prior to civil rights blacks had their own press. Now some of their most successful businesses are ones that feed off the people, speading social poison and contibuting to the same value-distorting superficiality that they experience in the media, accomplished by creating a perception of social value in a $500 hair style.
They’ve employed so many tactics to hurt black people. Never doubt your gross disfavor.
- Misogyny
- Female genital mutilation
- Materialism/superficiality
- Masculinization of women
- Gang violence.
- They put the LAForum/Hollywood Park in Inglewood for a reason and employ tactics like this throughout the country.
- There is a high frequency of liquor stores throughout inner-city neighborhoods. Also, in white neighborhoods drugs are relegated to high schools and degenerate circles. In the inner city drugs are readily available on the street FOR A REASON:::so every adult can have availability to drugs.
- The gods originally used jazz to create a self-perception of “cool” and “hip” in the black community and the over-confidence has grown from there.
- “Black power” envoked the anger of the gods. The gods have little tolerance for disfavored people’s uprisings which explains the sorry state of the black community post-civil rights “empowerment”.
They have utilized clones throughout human history. Don’t let them disceive you with that tactic:::The black community is in disarray, the young are segmented and divided and too many respectable blacks are dumped into worshiping Jesus as a diety. Black people in the United States and in the motherland both have disturbing problems.
When the grossly disfavored are not humble it incurs the wrath of the gods, as blacks have experienced in the last few decades with the crack epidemic and gang violence/drive-by shootings.
Know modesty and humility.
- They say some black women have a desire for promiscuity, a “promiscuity complex”, similar to the Philipino “rape complex”. AIDS in Africa reinforces this claim.
They sent young blacks clues NOT to fall prey to this materialistic culture of hip-hop::::
-$200 hockey jersey hanging in your closet you don’t wear anymore::Deceived into patronizing a sport that is almost completely devoid of black people.
-You didn’t learn from that lesson and you bought a $5000 grill. You celebrate that it makes you look like monsters.
-You regularly drop up to $500 on hair styling
-The gods punish you with abject materialism:::::they created a perceived value in replacing items of clothing as soon as they get even a smudge of dirt on them.
-You display pride in your materialism by leaving the price tags on your hats. You are the butt of jokes – you look like Minnie Pearl from Hee-Haw!!!! She may be their source for this idea.
-You surround yourselves with products from professional sports teams, a male-dominated activity, and consider gawdy jewelry stylish because the gods use their media to sell it. Much like hockey I doubt there are many black people behind the scenes throughout the media.
Hip hop is a cancer on the people.
I understand people point to decades past and claim “music of the youth” but the truth is the gods used music from those eras to hurt the youth as well:::::classic rock was DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO HURT WHITE PEOPLE!!!! And it did hurt many many disfavored. Just as hip hop is doing.
Popular music is bad for everybody.
Hip hop is particularly bad for it promotes specific anti-social behavior:::::
1. Misogyny – The misogonistic lyrics hurt people very badly for women are the favored gender, the decent among us. African female genital mutilation illustrates a legacy of misogyny.
As the women go so goes society.
Mysogyny has been hurting black America VERY BADLY for decades now.
2. Masculinizes the women – cursing, casual sex, quick to anger, violent.
3. Makes violence socially acceptable.
Understand hip hop is something they inflict ON YOU!!! They direct the media to plant the seed which is used to distort your value system. Black people have been suffering from this same tactic for decades now.
Understand humility and modesty. Try to see the big picture:::::Black people’s lack of humility is severely punished by the gods, as are all grossly disfavored who subscribe to this misperception of empowerment.
The gods are antient and powerful and angry and they love to hurt disfavored people who think they are great. Disfavored blacks have been misled into thinking they are great instead of recognizing their gross disfavor. Now they are corrupted and are doing things that hurt themselves and their community very badly.
You have a problem with the word “nigger”. It’s imperitive that you get over it.

People may experience “perceived pressure”, where the gods think through the victim that a certain behavior is expected/desirable (telepathically stimulate an individual euphorically (“magic”), the “fuel” of disfunction::::addiction (the crack epidemic), the desire for homosexual contact, etc.) and compel the individual into the deed. (Set a goal of empathy and compassion for all, for we are all disfavored::::Other people’s disfavor is manifested in their particular way, just as your disfavfor is manifested in your particular way.) The gods may use Artificial Intelligence to act through the disfavored victim, and effectively “push” the individual into the offending behavior. (It is far better for someone to be victimized and pushed into the behavior than it is to sccumb to temptation and volunteer.)
Being evil hurts 99.99% of those who do it. It only helps “made guys” that I spoke of above, and even then there are tactics the gods utilize to minimize their time.

Capitalizing on obedience, leading people deeper into evil by using deceit is one way to thin the ranks of the saved/limit how much time the disfavored receive and a way to use the peasantry to prey on one another in social and other settings, deteriorating society in the Age of the Disfavored.
They have tried to sell people on many different theories to deceive them into temptation, compelling people to think they are clones and that it is the role of clones to obey absolutely. Clones are made, people are born. I suspect they lie to the disfavored about the use of clones throughout human history, suggest it is one replacement and then the label of “clone”, and all decendants we see thereafter are considered clones.
When a clone has a child that person is a real, really conceived, really born, versus their parent who was created in some laboratory setting. If you didn’t experience the less than one week they suggest it takes to go from fertilized egg/cell in the laboratory to full grown adult then you are not a clone. In centuries past the females may have heeded this call en masse and it may have been the reason so many were saved from childbirth here on earth. The Old Testiment is a tool they used to impart wisdom to the people (except people have no freewill). For example, the gods warned us temptation would be used to test people. You need to pray, honor and respect them multiple times every day to improve your relationship with the gods. If they tell you not to pray it is a bad sign. It means they’ve made their decision, they don’t want you to go and they don’t want to be bothered. You may have achieved a threshold of evil. Too many young men strive for cool and it hurts them, as does all things targetted to males (professional sports, video games, beer, vehicle racing, heavy metal rock, cursing, etc.). Be afraid and make sure you think the right way when you address them daily. Too many people are deceived by this casual enviornment they create in people’s minds with Artificial Intelligence today. This does people a great disservice and it hurts them in the eyes of the gods. Try to eliminate it and avoid allowing it back once you have. Be very reverent and respectful whenever you address them.
Don’t get frustrated or discouraged::these are techniques they will attempt to try to get you off the path. You all have much to be thankful for and you need to give thanks to the gods who granted you the good things in life::friends, family, love. Throughout history the ruling species bestowed favor upon people or cursed their bloodline into a pattern of disfavor for many generations to come. Having children is a sign you lost your chance.
Parents need to sacrifice for their children. Your children are more important than you. They are the ones who have the opportunity now, and parents must sacrifice to ensure they give their children the very best chance they can. I recommend you apply yourselves to your children. I think this is the single best way for adults to try to redeem themselves in the eyes of the gods. Asking people to neglect their children emotionally is a sign they don’t want you to go, and complying may finish the parents off for good. (Having gay children (children with gay experiences) is a clue parents complied with whatever was asked of them.) Improve your relationship with the gods and they may not ask in the first place or they may permit you the courage to say “No.” to their requests.
People need to repent for the things they’ve done wrong in life. Often they know what they have done was wrong (telling you telepthically to do these things was temptation and complying has hurt you/will limit your time). People need to attone for these things they’ve done wrong.
There are other things that people have grown to believe are acceptable when in fact they are not:::::This society is designed to corrupt individuals, be it through materialism, the celebration/acceptance of evil (Halloween), desensitization of topics/images, voyerism/celebration of people’s misery, the acceptance of casual/alternate sex, the dietization of a prophet (Jesus).
