“just to let everyone know”
This is the livejournal of sixteen year old teenage girl “smchyrocky”, aka Rachelle Ann Monica Waterman. She lives in “Hell, Alaska, United States” and her bio states:

According to Glassdog, where I found these links, she was upset with her mother who “wanted to send her to fat camp”.

Well I’m going to anchorage tomorrow morning, huzzah for going to hot topic! ^_^ it shoudl be af un trip besidse the massive amounts of caluculus I have to do and nobody can help me cus nobody knows it 
taht kidna sucks but oh well
not a lot else going on, I sprained my ankle monday but it’s a lot better so I’m still playing, that’s what a brace is for. Unfortuantely I might be getting sick, which sucks but I have some flu stuff. though it did suck today in school when I had a migraine from about 9am-6pm. It didn’t help that since we won regionals we rode on the firetruck around town making noise and about 10 cars followed behind us honking their horns. Oh well, it was amusing sucking helium out of our baloons and then yelling at people
well I shall end it hear and report when I get home (sunday at about 3:30 or 4)

Did shopping, played v-ball (got 5th, bah), and that’s about it. Not much to tell, well I got these incredibly awesome boots that go up to my knees, I absolutely love them. will post pic later

Just to let everyone know, my mother was murdered
I won’t have computer acess until the weekend or so because the police took my computer to go through the hard drive. I thank everyone for their thoughts and e-mails, I hope to talk to you when I get my computer back.

Text: UPDATE: Lauri Waterman murder investigation, Craig AK
On 11/19/04, the Alaska State Troopers in cooperation with the Craig Police Department arrested two additional suspects involved in the death of Lauri Waterman, age 48, of Craig. Jason Arrant, age 24, of Klawock and Rachelle Waterman, age 16, of Craig were taken into custody after follow up investigation revealed they were involved in a conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree.
Details of the investigation revealed that Rachelle Waterman approached Arrant and solicited him to kill her mother, Lauri Waterman. Arrant agreed to kill Lauri Waterman and enlisted the aid of Brain Radel, age 24, of Thorne Bay. Between the solicitation and the actual murder, Arrant, Radel and Waterman plotted several murder scenarios and aborted one attempt to carry out a plan in September 2004.
On Tuesday, 11/10/04, Rachelle Waterman told Arrant that both she and her father would be out of town for the approaching weekend. She and Arrant agreed that it would be a good time to attempt to carry out their plan, because Lauri Waterman would be home alone. Rachelle Waterman told Arrant how to enter her house without being detected.
On Saturday, 11/13/04 Arrant and Radel made preparations to carry out their plot. During the early morning hours of Sunday, 11/14/04, Arrant dropped Radel off near the Waterman residence in Craig and drove to a prearranged meeting place. Radel entered the house. He abducted Lauri
Waterman out of her bed and forced her into her mini-van that was parked in the garage. Radel drove Waterman out in the mini-van to the vicinity of Main Line Road Bridge over the Yatuk Creek, in the central part of Prince of Wales Island and met up with Arrant. Their plan was to murder Waterman and to stage what appeared to be a fatal drunk driving motor vehicle accident, but after Radel had murdered Waterman they changed their plan.
They loaded Waterman?s body in the mini-van and drove to the end of the USFS 3012 Road, a remote and deserted location in the vicinity of Thorne Bay. Once there, Radel soaked the body and the van in gasoline and set it on fire in an effort to destroy evidence. After the van was burning,
they drove in Arrant?s truck to another remote location near Hollis, where they attempted to burn and destroy other items of evidence.
On Sunday afternoon, after Rachelle Waterman returned home, Arrant contacted her and reported that they had killed her mother.
This account was developed during interviews with the three defendants over the past four days. During the interviews all three made admissions as to their involvement in the murder.”

Should we wager on how long it will be before someone blames the Internet for this murder, in the same way people pointed fingers at Marilyn Manson in the wake of the Columbine massacre? The real problem is that there isn’t a system in place to deal with these profoundly disturbed teens, not the evils of popular culture.

Someone should tell her that she better be prepared to kiss her fucking name goodbye; there is a big ass prison number and a new home waiting for her and that home has two beds and a shitter in one room. She will be getting her free room and board along with her free cable. She won’t have computer access where she’s going because they are going to throw away the fucken key. What I would say to her if I met her, “Have fun in prison you fucking punta!”

I can’t talk about how people feel about Rachael. From Australia, all I can do is report an act which I find hard to understand, by someone who thinks and acts very very differently from me.
But it struck me so strongly that this must be very challenging for the community.
I really hope they have ways of coming together about this. To share the rage and grief, and move forward. To think together about such an incomprehensible act, and what it does to your world when you are young and full of hope.
In time I hope you discover that this is not something that ordinary, intact people do. For whatever reason, Rachael’s mind is broken and distorted.
Lauri Waterman would not have wanted her community to be damaged by this. She would cry out against the idea that children should learn hatred from her death.
I don’t know her, of course, but people speak of her with love. I wonder how she would have dealt with something like this. What message she leaves.
I am sure she would hope for healing in the end. I am sure she would have been able to forgive her daughter, and understand the damage that overwhelmed her.
Words are hard to use at a time like this.

i read about what u did.my only comment is you shouldn’t have done it.also i am kind of in the same situation as you but not at all as to what u did. why would u do it any way. you had a good life going(or so it seemed to me)and then you trew it all away for that.i hope you put your life back together cause i think there is always enough 4 a second cance. i am only 15 with very big problems and i am already piecing my life back together mabey it is good to prove them you are capable of doing it to.life will get better.

We cannot be a Jury, until like a Jury, we have seen ALL the facts. The girl did not appear to be obese enough to be sent to a ‘fat farm’; the mother may have been more disturbed than the girl appears to be; what motivated the co-accused to conspire? They knew the Deceased and her daughter. Their problems must have been noted (and ignored) by their milieu. Murder does not worry me as much as the widespread illiteracy of the SMS generation.

after a second reading, and in her defence, the alcoholic dad, divorced by the mother, chastises accused over a ‘B’ in English. I would think the english marker thought highly of the girl to give a B, from the posting language level. The alco dad or the step-dad may have abused the girl sexually and the mother may have tuned it out – a common story. It is clear the girl needed, and did not get, HELP. Look around you for any you know who is the same, and help them.

What kind of mother is that which torments her own kid to the extent that her own flesh and blood does not show any emotion telling about her own mother`s death. She must have been a nasty mother to the bone. Not able to give her own child love and warmth and make her feel accepted and protected. the sad thing is that parents are often the worst enemies of their own offspring, parents are the biggest destroyers. children are not born vicious, they grow so.
